What is Teeth Whitening?
It is the process of removing the coloration caused by any reason on the tooth surface by using special whitening gels and a light source.
In Which Case Is Applied?
It can be applied and accomplished in almost any type of coloring on the outer surface of the tooth, ie on the enamel or on the inner surface. It has a more limited success only in the coloration of tetracycline and fluorosis.
Is There Any Loss To Bottle?
Hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide used for whitening removes organic molecules that cause coloration in the tooth as a result of a series of chemical reactions. This reaction is an oxidation reaction and does not cause tissue loss.
Is it applicable to every patient?
One of the active substances; Hydrogen peroxide, carbamide peroxide or sodium perborate is not applicable in patients with allergy.
It is more accurate that pregnant women and nursing women do not have adequate clinical trials.
It can be safely performed in patients outside of these groups.
